We are looking for an IBCS Software Automated Test and Tools Product Owner to join our team to support the IFMC AMD MC PdO.

The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Automated Test and Tools (ATT) Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Defining, prioritizing, and managing the development of automated test cases and analysis tools, working with Program Management to set priorities for new automated test capabilities and analysis tools, and providing guidance to the ATT team for each Program Increment (PI) and Sprint.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements for automated testing tools, developing/defining a product roadmap, and prioritizing features based on user needs and business impact.
• Creating and maintaining a prioritized product backlog of user stories and test cases for automated testing tools and working directly with the ATT team to meet deadlines and program objectives.
• Supporting the team in developing acceptance criteria for ATT tasks and stories, as well as being responsible for verifying work performed by the ATT team and capturing/documenting test results/defects in Jira and/or Confluence.
• Technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership.
• Reporting on status; recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission
• Other duties as assigned.

At a minimum you should have:

• US Citizenship and residency in the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
• An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
• A good understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, etc.) and testing concepts necessary to establish a clear vision for the automated testing tool suite that aligns with overall product strategy and business objectives.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Squish, Cucumber, and JUnit.
• Fluency in the Microsoft Office toolset.
• A bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.
• A minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.

You will be highly desirable if you have:

• Previous experience with/knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
• The ability to “move out” and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude.
• Experience in JIRA/Confluence.
• An Agilist Certification.

Estimated Salary Range:

• Intermediate: $120,000-$147,000
• Senior: $155,000-$185,000
